ABOUT

Dylan Jared Griggs (b. 2004)  is an Atlanta-based contemporary painter that invites the fast pace of acrylic media to highlight Black voices of the American Southeast through moments of dynamic stillness. Griggs studied Painting at the Savannah College of Art and Design where he received his B.F.A. in 2026.

The visual language of his work blends figuration and abstraction through saturated colors and a blend of flat, geometric shapes. Through his work, Dylan celebrates the cultural moments and figures that most inspire him and the Black community of the South. Dylan has exhibited work at notable galleries and fairs in the Southeast such as ABV Gallery, Gallery Anderson Smith, and the Atlanta Art Fair.
